Countries Represented
The GOLF Magazine World Top 100 is compiled annually by a panel of over 1,800 course raters across six continents, evaluating courses on shot values, resistance to scoring, design variety, memorability, aesthetics, and conditioning. The 2025โ26 edition features courses from 14 countries, with the United States leading with 35 courses, followed by the United Kingdom with 28 courses.
Pine Valley Golf Club in New Jersey holds the top spot for the second consecutive year, while Cypress Point Club in California and Royal County Down in Northern Ireland complete the top three. Australia has six entries โ its strongest showing in a decade โ led by Cape Wickham Golf Links on King Island.
